In March 2017, two United Nations experts, Zaida Catalan from Sweden and Michael Sharp from the USA, were on a UN mission doing much needed humanitarian work in eastern Congo when they were kidnapped by a local militia group and went missing. Two weeks later, in a remote area of bushland, both were found brutally murdered, this is their story.
